Four days later~

Author's pov~

The morning rays peaked from the curtains and the sleepy man moved to the other side to snuggle into his wife. Only to find it empty. He looked around the room and checked the time, it was 6:30 am. He checked the closet, bathroom and lastly went outside to check. only to see his wife sitting on the swing in the garden. He went towards her and sat beside her on the swing. 

She looked to her right and saw her husband. The tender smile formed on her lips and she  kissed both of his cheeks. He wrapped his arms around her and she leaned on him to place his head on his chest. They sat there in complete silence just the chirping of the birds, without talking anything. 

On the other hand inside the house, Rishi came to the hall where Pradeep and Anand were waiting for their sons to come for the morning walk. Pradeep looked at Rishi with astonishment while he looked at his father with a confused face. 

“Why are you looking at me like that ?” he asked his father. 

“Aaj janab jaldi kaise uth gaye ?” He asked, putting his one arm around his brother's neck. They asked him with a teasing smile and wiggled eyebrows. 

(How did you get up so early today sir)

Rishi rolled his eyes and said “don't think too much. Your old age brain might ache.” 

To which he got a slap on his father. “Buddha hoga Tera baap.” Anand said while glaring at him. 

(your father will be Buddha)

“yes yes bade papa, Maine papa ko hi kaha.” To which he laughed but pradeep glared at him. “aap dono young, handsome adults ho. I'm sorry, meri galti hai main jaldi uth gya Aaj.” 

(You both are young, handsome adults. It was my mistake; I got up early today)

Just then Advay came and joined them. He asked Rishi how he woke up so early. To which he made a disgusting face and without answering him. He went outside being followed by the other men. 

On the way Anand asked “where is Rudra ?” And pradeep replied that he saw him walking outside some time ago. “Where did he go in the early morning ?” Rishi asked just then the ladies arrived and Adrisha was carrying Rohan in her arms. He was in his school dress. It's his habit to get ready only by Adrisha although it's a relief for Priya. 

They asked the ladies about rudra. To which they said that nobody knows where he is. Adrisha said that Priya was not in the room when she went to make Rohan ready for school. 

They all went outside and the scene made them all go in awe. There the couple was. Priya was sitting on the swing while Rudra was standing behind her. He was making the braid of her hair and put the flowers in her braid which he plucked from there only. The couple was Rudra and Priya. 

Rudra came forward, kneeled in front of her and kissed her small baby bump. While Rishi whistled aloud gaining their attention. The couple got a little embarrassed but the moment was much more than this embarrassment. 

Rudra helped Priya to stand up and walked to the family. Rohan got down from Adrisha's arm and ran to his parents. Rudra took him in his arms, he kissed both of their cheeks and the whole family smiled at the moment. 

Suddenly Rishi spoke “Rudra bhaiya toh joru ke Ghulam hai pure.” to which Rudra sneaked his arm around his wife and said “Ha hu main joru ka Ghulam. Jab bhagwan ne itni achhi biwi di hai toh joru ka Ghulam banne mein kya galat hai.” and with that sentence beautiful blush adorned priya’s face. everyone present there smiled to the fullest. 

(Yes, I am my wife's slave. When god has given you such a good wife then what is wrong in becoming a wife's slave)

Pradeep exclaimed suddenly “bhai, iss Ghar mein Advay ko chhod kr sabhi joru ke Ghulam hai.” and Rishi replied to him “true chachu, except Advay Bhai every man in this family is romantic.” Everyone laughed at his remark While it left a deep impact on someone's mind.

After that the men went to the morning walk and the ladies went inside, did the morning prayer and made breakfast. After an hour everyone settled down on the breakfast table. 

On the breakfast table the aura was all cheered up with the talks and laughter. But Adrisha was lost in her thoughts. She was still thinking about Pradeep’s words. 

Adrisha's pov~

Everyone was eating their food while talking and laughing and here I am still thinking about what Rishi said an hour ago. Although I know he was just joking, I still can't help with my overthinking mind or maybe because of my period hormones. Yes, I got my periods this morning. And I think this time also it'll be a little tough. I get really severe cramps and headaches and sometimes even feel nauseous during my periods. 

I was in my thoughts when I felt a hand on my hand which rested on my lap. I looked up to see him and he was eating his food while caressing his hand on my thumb. My period hormones kicked in and I melted there even if it was a small gesture. It felt too overwhelming that time. 

I had my food after everyone left. But he was in the room. Usually he goes at the same time as others but today after breakfast he told me to come into the room because he wanted to talk about something. 

I went into the room and as expected I was pinned to the door :). I rolled my eyes and pushed him away. Ok now I'm being rude but I can't help it. 

He looked at me but said nothing. He walked to the dressing table, took a pinch of vermillion from the box and filled my hairline. He never forgot to do this. 

After that he went to the closet and came back with the jewellery box in his hands. I was looking at him being confused. He took my hands in his and made me sit on the couch. He kneeled down on his one knee and removed my sandals. He took the box and opened it. There was a beautiful pair of anklets in it. It was the same which I saw in the shop that day. But I didn't buy it.  

He took the anklet, while the jingling sound of the ghungroos echoed in the room. It was so heavy and had so many ghungroos in it that if I walked while wearing this, the sound would be heard in the whole house. 

He put my feet on his thigh and made me wear that anklet and he did the same with the other one also. After that he took my hands into his large ones. I was waiting for him to speak. He was caressing my knuckles with his thumb, he looked at me and started speaking. 

“I bought this, that day only when we went to the jeweller. I wanted to give this to you on holi as it was our first festival together after marriage but because of the lack of time I couldn't. But now I'm giving it to you and I know you liked it that day. I should be thankful that you didn't buy it that day because then I got a chance to get something for you. I know I could have got you something else but I don't know anything about this girl's stuff. But I'll learn eventually—he paused and scratched his brows nervously. Can't believe that ADVAY SINGHANIA is nervous in front of his wife. But then he continued—- Biwi, I know you were thinking about what everyone was saying in the morning, especially what Rishi said. They all know me as that heartless devil Advay. But don't think about what they say. I know they're family and their opinion does matter but I'm not so loving and expressing since the very start. Now I'm trying to change myself, for myself, for you, for us and for this relationship. I don't give a fuck about what other people think about me, or whatever they say. Let them do whatever they want. But I only care about you and whatever you'll say or you'll think about me does matter. You matter to me the most. And I want to change myself for the better. Tumhare meri zindagi mein hone se mujhe farak padta hai.”

He completed his words and by this time I had tears in my eyes. I was feeling beyond happy. The feeling that couldn't be described in words. I never saw him talking this much. I swear to god today is one of the best days in my life. I didn't know what to say. I felt a lack of words. Before I could say anything he spoke again. 

“I know I didn't say this ever and I know what our situation was after the marriage. But now I really want to give this marriage a chance. I know it's stupid of me to ask this while being in this marriage but your decision also matters. So Mrs. Adrisha Advay Singhania, would you like to give this marriage a chance ?”  he asked me while still kneeling down on one knee. 

I nodded reluctantly “yes,yes a hundred times yes Mr. Singhania.”  tears rolled down from my cheeks and he joined his forehead with mine. We closed our eyes and he whispered slowly 

“Meri Jaan.” That made me smile ear to ear. I hugged him tightly that made him a little stumble but he handled both of us and hugged me back. 

After spending some more time like that we backed off from each other. He kissed my forehead and caressed my tear stained cheeks. Then we both went downstairs. The sound of the anklets was making me anxious about what if someone won't like it. My anxious thoughts got replaced by the happy one when Maa and Chachi said “Adrisha, paayal Bahut achhi lag rahi hai.” I smiled hearing that and looked at him who was staring at me already with a subtle smile.

Then he touched everyone's feet and went to his office being followed by me who came to bid him bye. We walked to his car and he turned around. 

Advay’s pov~

I turned around and kissed her cheeks because of my daily habit. But today to my surprise, after I was done. Adrisha tiptoed on her toes and kissed my right cheek. Butterflies started a marathon in my stomach. Her rose petals like lips felt too soft for my rough skin. I got confused by the foreign feeling. I should not be turned on by a mere kiss. Right? But I fucking was. The girl whose existence is the biggest turn on for me. Of Course it felt right to be turned on by that mere kiss. 

I was getting late to go and get a cold shower. I sneaked my hand on her waist pulling her closer. Her hands on my chest and face just inches apart. “getting bold Biwi ? Are we ?” To which she just Lowered her lashes and pushed me a little to get free from my hold. “You are getting late.” she said, pushing me off. “I'm the CEO biwi, I can even take a day off if you want us to spend our whole day in the room.” I asked, whispering in her ear. 

The beautiful scarlet blush adorned her cheeks and she hid her face in my neck. I laughed and placed a tender kiss on her hair. After that we parted away and I drove to the office.
